Last spring I planted a handful of milkweed seeds in a small bed in my front yard. About a month ago I found 3 catapillars on the plants and brought them inside. One was killed by a spider, one just died, and one became a butterfly which I released. I kept them in small cardboard boxes and fed them an astonishing amount of milkweed leaves. In the last two days I have found 7 more ranging in length from 1 1/2" to 3/4" in length. I suspect the Dkos community has some people who can give me some tips on butterfly husbandry that will improve the odds for these little guys. Any insight will be appreciated.
I won't be around for the comments. I'll be in the shop inventing a butterfly nursery.
